Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with:
- Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- Minimum 50% marks in English in Class 10 or 12.
JEE Main Requirement
- Candidates should have appeared in JEE (Main) 2024 and must have a valid score. The All India Rank (AIR) will be considered during shortlisting.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be born between 02/01/2006 to 01/07/2008 (both dates inclusive).
Marital Status
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.

How to Apply for Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry Scheme 2024
Follow these steps to submit your application:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to joinindiannavy.gov.in.
- Register Online: Click on “Candidate Login” and create an account using your email ID and mobile number.
- Fill the Application Form: Provide your personal details, academic qualifications, and JEE Main 2023 score.

- JEE Main scorecard
- Recent passport-sized photograph and signature

Selection Procedure
The selection process for the Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry Scheme 2024 consists of the following stages:
- Shortlisting:
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their JEE Main 2023 Rank.
- SSB Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. The interview process includes:
- Stage I: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).
- Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Testing Officer Tasks, and Personal Interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. The interview process includes:
- Medical Examination:
- Candidates clearing the SSB interview will undergo a medical fitness test as per Navy standards.
- Final Merit List:
- The final selection is based on the merit list prepared from SSB performance and medical fitness.
Training and Course Details
- Selected candidates will undergo B.Tech training at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala.
- The program offers a B.Tech degree in streams such as:
- Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Upon completion, candidates will be commissioned as officers in the Indian Navy.
